Faith Based Election

President Bush was elected to his second term for one reason and that reason was his Faith Based Incentives. Bush shrouded himself with the robes of faith and carried the newly formed banner of compassionate conservatism. Grassroots organizations spread the belief that Bush would send 8 billion dollars to help Faith Based Charities that aid the poor and mentally ill. Bush has misled America, and possibly tarnished the banner of compassionate conservatism for all time. He knew that he would never be able to pass this spending in the name of religion and yet he preached it as if it was his soul mission in life. I heard it from all corners of the religious community; a vote for Bush was a vote for God’s work. If that is the case then Bush has abandoned God’s work. In truth the President never planned to push for his Faith Based Incentives, it was all an election scam aimed at getting the swing vote of the Christian democrats. When you see Bush praying in pictures and on TV, if it’s not just a ploy to convince you he is still trying to get the incentives then he is praying for his own soul for deceiving Christains to get elected. The Faith Based Incentives were the strongest reason that I almost voted for Bush, but I knew that even if Bush wanted to bring 8 billion dollars to the faith organizations, that the special interest corporations that run the Republican Party would never let it happen. This is because these corporations that run the Republican Party at all costs like to stay away from these three keys; religious morality, spiritual awareness, and positive results of church attendance. This is because sex and violence are used to sell their products and those three religious keys undermine their sales. It is also because we are absolutely phobic of anything that publicly affirms any form of religious Faith.
